“The response from the song and music video for ‘Drunk Girl’ has been overwhelming,” says Janson. “The day Tom Douglas, Scooter Carusoe, and I got together to write, we were writing from a father’s perspective, and we just wanted to write a song that mattered. With the music video, we hoped the visual would bring about healthy conversations regarding consent and that is exactly what is happening. I’ve had so many people, from all different age groups, tell me at shows that ‘Drunk Girl’ is a story that needed to be heard. I’ve had a couple of folks tell me they played the video for a fraternity.
