Nashville’s The Basement East hosted singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope on Monday, with a packed house in attendance. Starting the show off with a string of hits — “Take You Home,” “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” and “Summer” — Pope also treated guests to a new unreleased song off of the upcoming album called “If My Heart Had a Heart.”

After inviting Lindsay Ell, Raylynn, Kalie Shorr, Hannah Ellis, Luckie Silvas, Tara Thompson, Leah Turner to join Cassadee onstage, the girls entertained guests with a medley including a cover of “Boys” by Charlie XCX. Later in the set, Pope was joined by local favorite Hunter Hayes on the electric guitar for a rendition of “Don’t You Forget About Me,” by Simple Minds. Pope ended the set on an emotional note with “Wasting All These Tears,” showcasing her impressive vocals.

Cassadee Pope’s powerhouse voice, inimitable presence, and endless charm transformed her into a force of nature beloved by millions worldwide. Following her victory on Season 3 of NBC’s The Voice, her 2013 full length debut, Frame By Frame, bowed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart.
