ANASTASIA ELLIOT TO PERFORM BENEFIT FOR THE CITY OF EL PASO ON BEHALF OF AND MAKING DONATION THROUGH THE GREAT KHALID FOUNDATION

Jan 06 2020

On January 23rd Anastasia Elliot will perform at The Lowbrow Palace headlining a very special benefit show for the city of El Paso. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Great Khalid Foundation towards their music education programs. Tickets for the benefit are available at https://bit.ly/2Nd4UsO

“I’m excited to perform for this beautiful city that is still healing from the tragedy last year,” shares Anastasia. “I wanted to do anything I could to support the community of El Paso and to be able to do that through music is the greatest gift. We are so thrilled to be able to bring a night of joy and fun to the city and give to those involved.”

While in El Paso, Anastasia will also be hosting a meet and greet Q&A session with a short performance at Sound Stage 9 for the community and students.  The event will take place on January 22nd and will begin at 6:30pm.

Anastasia recently released “Cigarettes and Gasoline,” the prologue single to her thirteen-song album, officially opening the doors to the magical world that she has constructed. Of the track, Alternative Press said that ‘her raw vocal range is nothing short of consuming and gut-wrenching.” Listen to “Cigarettes and Gasoline” and view the video here: https://on.cmdshft.com/CigsGas

On January 31st, Anastasia will release the lead track from her upcoming full-length debut, “Crash Landing.” The song is perhaps the most personal on the album as she was working on the song when her plane crashed nose-first onto the runway upon descent, a traumatic experience that has become life defining and completely changed who she was as a person.  The remainder of the album has been her way of coping and working through the trauma, a sort of resurrection and rediscovery of self.
